Canadian School

of natural nutrition graduate and CSNN alumni

Hey there. I’m Meaghan!

I am a recent graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, where I earned a diploma in Natural Nutrition and a Holistic Culinary Certificate.  Before becoming a mother to my two daughters, I worked as a medical laboratory assistant.  Helping people has always been a core value of mine.  My journey into holistic nutrition was deeply influenced by my personal struggles with food, such as challenges with eating in public, binge eating, and using excessive exercise as a way of purging.  Additionally, facing health scares of my own, and recently being diagnosed with a congenital back disorder which causes me chronic low back pain, has given me a new perspective on the importance of health.  Through these struggles I have learned to put the responsibility of my health into my own hands and move away from conventional medicine and towards a holistic approach.

I have since learned to recognize that true well-being encompasses four pillars of health: mind, body, spirit, and emotional.

I am committed to honouring these pillars in my own life, striving for health without the need for perfection, and supporting body systems for greater wellbeing.

My journey involves learning to love and respect my body, one imperfection at a time and recognizing the profound impact of gut health on my overall wellness.

EDUCATING

IN GUT HEALTH

Gut Lovin’ Health was established to educate you about the gut’s integral connection to all body systems, emphasizing the four pillars of health and their impact on gut health.  My priority is to ensure you feel seen and heard while empowering you to take control of your health and enhance your quality of life.

I was drawn to holistic nutrition because I believe that while the medical system excels in managing diseases, it often falls short in supporting overall quality of life, addressing grey area conditions, and managing imbalances that affect daily physical and emotional well-being.

Holistic nutrition focuses on the body as a whole, honouring each pillar of health.  The mind, body, spirit, and emotions are the four pillars that hold up our health and create a longstanding path to true wellbeing.

Central to these pillars is the health of the gut, which is the key to supporting all other body systems.  By maintaining a healthy gut, overall wellbeing and achieving optimal health are enhanced.

By choosing Gut Lovin’ Health you are saying no to conventional ways of looking at health, and saying yes to finding balance within your body.  Everyone deserves to feel energized, focused, and healthy from the inside out regardless of age, gender, race, or predetermined road blocks.  By choosing Gut Lovin’ Health I will offer you a compassionate ear, understanding, and health advice from a holistic and practical point of view.

Reach out and let’s get started on your path to true, longstanding wellness!
